Component Pricing
Heads, shafts and grips are billed at our landed cost plus a flat $18 handling figure per club. The figure does not scale with the price of the part, so a $400 shaft earns the studio exactly what a $60 shaft earns.
That structure is the reason we can look you in the eye when the cheaper option wins the test.
Credit Toward a Build
If you build with us inside sixty days of a session, half the session fee comes off the labour total. It is applied automatically — you do not need to remember to ask.
Payment
Card or cash at the desk. Builds take a deposit covering components at the time of order, balance on collection. We do not run financing and we do not hold your card on file.
Where the money can surprise people
A fitting fee is easy to publish. The part that catches golfers out is the component bill, so here is the shape of it in advance. A single hybrid rebuilt on a mid-tier aftermarket shaft usually lands somewhere between two hundred and three hundred dollars all in. A full set of irons with premium shafts can run past two thousand. Neither number is a surprise if we discuss it before you order, and we always do.
The second surprise runs the other way. Perhaps a third of the sessions here end with a change that costs almost nothing — a lie angle bend, a grip size correction, dropping a club that was fighting its neighbour. Those are the cheapest shots a golfer ever buys and they are frequently the biggest.
What Is Never Charged
- The follow-up visit after a build
- Correcting a spec we got wrong
- A second short session when a head has to be ordered in
- Advice on the phone before you book
Book the bench, not the purchase
Sessions are paid on the day. Nothing is committed until you have seen the numbers on paper.
